Look: Graduation Outfit

2019-05-23 10_58_35-↞kirsten krupps↠ (@kirstenkrupps) • Instagram photos and videos

This past weekend my brother graduated with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy down in St. Louis! It’s quite warm down there and I wanted to wear something comfortable, but cute. I found this white romper from Vici Collection and I knew that I had found what I was wearing. Cute, sophisticated, and easy-to-wear. I got a TON of compliments from random strangers, so I was definitely feeling myself while I was wearing it. I paired it with some simple block heals and gold jewellery.

Look: St. Patrick’s Day 2019

It’s St. Patrick’s Day, so you know I’m about to be festive af! Trying to also stay warm, hence the leggings and shaggy jacket. Most is from Etsy or Amazon or things I already owned. We ended up going downtown for a bit and then made our way up to the Heights for some day drinking and shenanigans! Peoria knows how to do St. Pats!

NYE Fashion

I’m pretty sure everyone knows that NYE = GLITTER + SEQUINS! This is THE night to bust out all your favorite sparkly pieces (well, don’t wear them all at once) and get festive for the night. I’d pick one, maybe two sparkly pieces to be the focus of your look and then build your outfit around that. It doesn’t have to be your dress, though! I love the idea of some over-the-knee sequin boots or even sequin pants to really stand out. And of course, if you’re wanting something more casual, a sequined blazer with some jeans are a perfect combo!

Personally, I have a black, sequined, fitted dress that I’ll be wearing. I’m still working on the exact details, but I’m thinking black tights for some warmth, a faux fur coat, and some silver booties to wrap up the look.

FALL ’17 TRENDS I PLAN ON ROCKING

Fall is JUST around the corner and just so happens to be my favorite season. I wish we got a longer window of actual fall weather here in the midwest, though. It seems like we get about a week of nice, cool fall weather and then – BAM – freezing temperatures are here, leaves are all gone. Anyways, a big part of why I like fall so much is the fall fashions. There are some tried and true trends that are always in fashion [plaid, anyone?], but here are some trends for this season that I’m excited to rock. A lot of these trends are ones I’ve been liking and wearing for a while, but it’s cool that it’s super “in” this year.

Look: I hate everyone upon this cursed earth

I was in Nashville this weekend for a girls trip with Kiley and Shannon. I was seeing if there was any concerts on Saturday or Sunday we’d want to see and I saw that SAY ANYTHING was playing! How did we luck out!? Here’s my rocker chic outfit for the night. I had a random guy on the street tell me that I looked like a rockstar, which is exactly what I’m usually going for.
