Uh, this bag is ADORABLE! I love it! This is right up behind the galaxy bag that I got last November or October, I believe. And I got a lot of good products in this one. I had a little meh spot with ipsy, but it’s been picking up lately!
Ciaté London’s Fierce Flicks Eyeliner – This reminds me of Kat Von D’s tattoo eyeliner. It goes on smooth, it goes on dark, and it goes on evenly. Which is exactly what you want with a felt liquid liner. It’s new, though, so we’ll have to see how it holds up over time. theBalm Cosmetics’ Hot Mama Blush – Love this! Reminds me of Nars’ Orgasm blush. I think I’m going to stick this in my car for blush touch ups. noyah’s Natural Lipstick in Smoke – I like the color itself, but it wasn’t quite right on me. It’s a “greige.” The formula is okay – long-lasting, but not the most comfortable or uncomfortable on the lips. pūr~lisse Daily Lip Nourisher with Mango and Shea Butters – I’m obsessed with lip balm, so I was pretty excited to get this. Makes my lips feel great and smells good. You can never have too many lip balms! MeMeMe Blush Brush – A simple blush brush. Gets the job done and is soft. I tend to gravitate towards brushes with a little bit more personality, like colors or patterns, but overall this is a good brush.
Another cute bag! I’m pretty excited for this bag and I wish it came sooner for my vacation since the theme this month is “Destination Chic” and I would’ve totally used all these products while in Florida. Guess I’ll have to use them all summer long instead.
Caribbean Sun Bronzer Duo by Jelly Pong Pong Cosmetics – I was a bit skeptical when I saw the blush color, but wow this is so pretty on! I really like this product and it’s something I totally would’ve passed over otherwise. This was definitely the MVP of this month’s Glam Bag.
Hungry Hair Oil Treatment by Eva NYC – I actually have a hair straightener and blow dryer from Eva NYC (read the review here), but I’ve never tried any of their hair care products.
Gel Effect Nail Polish by Aurora in Safety Orange – I have to admit, I would never by this color for myself, but I’m glad I have it in my collection. I don’t normally like orange, but this is neon orange, so I can get down with it.
No-Tug Waterproof Mini Gel Eyeliner by IT Cosmetics – This rules! It truly is no tug. I can’t do wings with it, because it just isn’t as precise as a brush, but this was great for lining my lash line and it stayed! I haven’t really tested the water proof-ness yet.
Lavender Moisture Rich Balm by Jersey Shore Cosmetics – LOVE the lavender! I use lavender in my nighttime routine, so I put this baby on my night stand. It’s great! Feels nice on the lips and isn’t too greasy.
I was one of 5,000 lucky people who was selected by Influenster to test some brand new Covergirl items! These are new product lines coming out in January, but we were sent them a little early to try them out and give our honest opinions on them. I’m a little bummed I didn’t receive one of the eyeshadow palettes that a few hundred people got. Womp womp.
I’m already a fan of Covergirl’s mascaras, so I was pumped that I was selected to receive one from the brand new Plumpify line. It’s supposed to offer 50x (okay, that seems a bit much, but whatever) volume. They sent it in the color very black, which is perfect. The rubber applicator is twisted in a spiral, so I was curious about the performance as soon as I got it out of the box. It definitely made my lashes longer and fuller! It goes on pretty smoothly and clump free.
I still prefer using at least a couple different mascaras to get the thickest look possible, but this did an amazing job!
The other item I received was the vitamin infused lip balm from the new Oh Sugar line. I got the shade caramel. It smells nice and looks more like a lipstick than lip balm. Once it’s on the lips, though, you can tell it’s a balm. I like that it was sheer and shimmery.
